Help! I have lost my Cell Phone. What Should I Do?

Many people lose their cell phone every day. After you panic, the first thing to do is to visit the store where you either purchased your phone or sells the phone you did purchase. Example, T-Mobile, Nextel, Verizon...etc. You will need to get a phone that is activated on that specific carrier's network.

Although you might be able to find a replacement phone on Ebay.com or Half.com you should make sure that the phone is compatible with the service you have now and that it is Unlocked. If you purchase a phone that is locked, you won't be able to change the SIM card and/or re-program the phone. Basically that means you are sunk.

Best Advice: Treat your Cell phone like you would your wallet, not your sunglasses. Sunglasses seem easy to replace (although not cheap!), but wallets and cell phones can be expensive as well as lead to Identity Theft
